Goldendoodle Inadvertently Competes in Half-Marathon, Finishes Respectably
I Can Has Teh Runnerz Hai Dozer the Goldendoodle was a last minute entry into Maryland's Half Marathon last weekend, righteously dusting fellow runners all along the way. Dozer had apparently been secretly training for the big race, as his parents hadn't a clue that he'd even been training - nor that he'd left the backyard for that matter. According to Karen E. Warmkessel, a spokeswoman for the University of Maryland Medical Center, a beneficiary of the race, Dozer escaped an invisible fence, lured by the thousands of racers running past his home, which sits near the mile five mark....
